    James grew up in Ireland helping run his family’s business, LFS Sport Horses, buying - breeding - producing - selling show horses. Achieving great success in the show ring at a young age, in James traveled to the Winter Equestrian Festival to ride with Irish International Show Jumper, Paul O’Shea.

    James has built his career training amateurs, and brings a highly detailed and thorough approach, resulting in his students’ tremendous success in the show ring. Although his primary focus has been on training, his career as a show jumper has not taken a back seat. With numerous notable victories under his belt on multiple mounts, James has the talent, dedication, and ability to produce young horses and show horses to the highest levels of competition.

    Spruce Meadows, Calgary, Alberta, Canada —June 30, — In an exrtraordinary course of events on Sunday during the Pan-American Tournament CSI 5* at Spruce Meadows, the $62,West Canadian Cup, presented by WCD ended in a tie between Mexico’s Manuel Gonzalez Dufrane (MEX) with Martialis, and Ireland’s Conor Swail (IRL), with Gamble.

    Eleven out of the original 61 entries managed to complete the m first-round course in flawless fashion, thus advancing to the tiebreaker. Incredibly, Swail with the year-old bay Dutch Warmblood (KWPN) gelding (Vingino x Indoctro) and Dufrane with the year-old bay Belgian Warmblood gelding (Nabab de Reve x Lord Z) matched each other stride for stride all the way to the wire, completing the jump-off in exactly seconds to share top honors.
