Peter Booth
Peter Booth (b. ) grew up in the English steel mill town of Sheffield, bike-riding on the nearby moors. He left school at 15 and from to , attended evening drawing classes at Sheffield College of Art while working as a copyboy for a local newspaper. Drawing constantly, he began keeping a dream diary in In , the Booth family immigrated to Australia, settling in the then semi-rural town of Altona. Biography
[edit]Wiley received a B.A. in English literature from Williams College and an M.A. in United States history from the University of Wisconsin&#;Madison.
He is Chairman of the Library and Technology Advisory Council for the California Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo[2] and serves on the Board of Directors of the University of California Press.[3] He served on Board of Directors of the Friends of the San Francisco Public Library ()[4] and chaired its Development Committee during the successful Neighbor Library Campaign that led to the remodeling of branch libraries and the construction of new branches. He has lectured on the history and future of publishing,[5] San Francisco history and architecture,[6] and the writing experience.
